“Food & cooking are so basic but inspiring for me, the simplicity and the opportunity each mouthful offers. I see it as a way to give to others, to nourish & nurture not only their body, but also their soul. Now that is a gift I want to share; with my family, my friends and my clients”.

Coming from a background where food is central to being, Michal was taught about the importance of food at her mother & grandmother’s hands. Her passion for foods that support & nurture came from these childhood experiences, watching her grandmother cooking from scratch with natural, colourful foods. This helped her develop early in life an understanding of where food actually comes from and how it contributes to wellbeing.

Her background includes Traditional Chinese Medicine & nutrition, life coaching, teaching cooking classes and feng shui consulting, just to name a few. Working at the MINDD Foundation deepened her understanding of the integrative approach to healthy lifestyle, understanding more how each person’s individual complex responds to food & lifestyle, which then affects the functioning of the mind. These days, running her own successful health-focused catering company in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs has Michal in touch with current food & dietary trends, as well as more recent training in Health Coaching at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the only nutrition school integrating all the different dietary theories.

Combining Michal’s two passions – people & food – has created ‘My Kitchen Wisdom’. Fascinated by people & their cultures, and inspired by the conversations between food, family & traditions, Michal has taken many different paths to expand her horizons around the basic principles of life. She now offers her clients a wealth of understanding around health, nutrition, lifestyle choices and philosophy, gleaned from many experiences.
